Handling

• Avoid breathing dust. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
• Wash skin thoroughly after handling. Do not eat, drink or smoke while using this product.
• Avoid release to the environment.

Personal protective equipment

• Hands: chemical-impervious protective gloves
• Eyes: protective chemical safety goggles
• Body: chemical-resistant protective clothing
• Feet: chemical-resistant safety shoes or boots
• Respiratory: an approved/certified respirator where ventilation is inadequate
• Ventilation: general room ventilation is adequate for normal use

Storage

Store in a cool, ventilated place. Keep the container tightly closed when the product is stored. Protect from freezing. Store locked up and keep out of reach of children.

Incompatible materials

Reacts violently with calcium hypochlorite. This is a moisture-reactive material — keep it dry, as contact with water or steam produces toxic and corrosive fumes. Contact with combustible material may cause fire, and contact with nitrogen compounds can form explosive nitrogen trichloride. Never mix with any other pool or spa chemical.
