The Blue Shield Alkalinity Increaser will help you raise Total Alkalinity in your pool or spa while keeping your pH levels the same.  This 5 lbs. bucket makes your pH and chlorine levels easier to control and balance for safe, healthy pool water.

  • Active ingredient: 100% Sodium Bicarbonate
  • Use when total alkalinity drops below 80 ppm
  • For use in pools, spas, and hot tubs
  • Keeps pH and chlorine from becoming unstable
  • Granular form, easier to apply into your water
  • Dosage: 1-1/2 pounds per 10,000 gallons will raise the alkalinity level approximately 10 ppm. Spa Dosage: 1-2 oz. per 500 gallons.
  • Retest water after every dosage added, You can swim after 4 hours of circulation
