Storage
Keep containers tightly closed and store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location, away from incompatible material and locked up. Store in clean, tightly closed steel containers — do not store in aluminum, fibreglass, copper, brass, zinc or galvanized containers.
Incompatible materials
Generates heat when mixed with acid, and may react with ammonium salt solutions to release ammonia gas. Flammable hydrogen gas may be produced on contact with aluminum, tin, lead and zinc. Also incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, strong bases, alkalis, organic matter, combustible material, reducing agents, thiosulfates, thiocyanates and ammonium compounds.
